What is a Carbon Footprint?
We all generate waste and greenhouse gasses through our everyday actions. Sadly, a lot of our world now relies on processes that cause severe harm to the environment. Making small, incremental changes, though, can create a massive ripple effect. An ecological footprint is your calculated greenhouse gas production through your individual, everyday actions. Depending upon your transportation habits, energy, and water use, you may generate as much as 9 global hectares yearly. To put this in perspective, if every person on Earth lived generating that same amount, we would need 5 Earths to sustain us. To learn more, visit some of our links!
